Kristina Woolston joined the Old Harbor Native Corporation as Executive Vice President July 2024.
Kristina is an Alaska Native shareholder of Bristol Bay Native Corporation and Paug-Vik, Ltd, and a Tribal member of Naknek Native Village Council. Kristina was born raised in Naknek, where she commercial fished each summer with her family and took part in traditional hunting and gathering for subsistence purposes. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Government from Dartmouth College.
Prior to Old Harbor, Kristina served as the head of external affairs for Donlin Gold, a high-grade pure gold development project partnership with Alaska Native landowners Calista Corporation and The Kuskokwim Corporation. Before Donlin, Kristina was the Vice President External Affairs for Quintillion, the company that built and now operates the first subsea fiber optic cable in the North American Arctic. For more than ten years, Kristina served as the Vice President Government Relations for Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Village Corporation that has provided tremendous benefits to its Native community through its significant global operations, figuring prominently in the diverse government services sector. Kristina was also a Senior Fellow with Rasmuson Foundation, leading their effort to bring digital equity to all Alaskans. Early in her career Kristina consulted on an international oil and gas project, with a focus on European partners.
