Freddy Christiansen

Freddy Christiansen joined the Board of Directors in 2008.  Freddy brings a new and enthusiastic perspective to the Board of Directors.  Freddy has commercial fished all of his life and fishes out of the Old Harbor and Chignik area.   Freddy is a board member of Gulf of Alaska Coalition (G0AC3), Alaska Federation of Natives, and Kodiak Island Housing Authority.  He has also previously served on the Kodiak Island Native Association and the Koniag Board of Directors.

Freddy runs his own business a development consulting company called Nuniuq Consulting.  He works to promote Alaska Natives in his community and throughout Alaska.  He lives in Anchorage with his wife Glenna and they have two daughters.  During his leisure time he enjoys sport fishing, outdoor recreational activities and spending time with family and friends, especially his Grandson, Payton.
